Assemble documentation packages and produce drawing sets which are then checked by an engineer or an architect. Confer with engineering staff and other personnel to resolve problems. Draft working drawings, wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications or cross-sections of underground cables, as required for instructions to installation crew. Draw master sketches to scale showing relation of proposed installations to existing facilities and exact specifications and dimensions. Measure factors that affect installation and arrangement of equipment, such as distances to be spanned by wire and cable. Study work order requests to determine type of service, such as lighting or power, demanded by installation. Visit proposed installation sites and draw rough sketches of location. Determine the order of work and the method of presentation, such as orthographic or isometric drawing. Explain drawings to production or construction teams and provide adjustments as necessary. Preparation of drawings using CAD tool Electrical Single line diagrams Electrical cable tray arrangement drawing Electrical equipment and wiring arrangement drawing Site tracing of electrical routing and preparation of as-built drawings Design and draw wiring and layout diagrams. Supervise installation of electrical equipment and systems. Supervise repair of equipment and wiring. Create visual guidelines for construction purposes. Draft technical details. Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures. Draw in minute details of structures. Use Computer Aided Design and Drafting systems to prepare drawings. Create and store drawings electronically. Program drawings into automated manufacturing systems. Prepare variations of design. Explain concepts to construction workers. Prepare engineering drawings that detail plans and specifications
